Applicant Privacy Notice

Your application is employment information, not membership data.

This notice explains how Woman Enlightened collects, uses, protects, and retains information submitted for an open position.

Version applicant-v1 · August 30, 2026

Information collected

  • Name, preferred name, contact information, and general location.
  • Résumé, employment-related links, experience statement, and role-specific responses.
  • Application stage, interview schedule, job-related evidence, scorecards, and human decision history.
  • Optional referral source.
  • A separate accommodation request when you choose to ask for an adjustment in the application or interview process.

How information is used

  • Evaluate your application for the specific position you selected.
  • Prepare and conduct structured interviews.
  • Communicate operational updates about your application.
  • Document consistent, job-related human decisions and meet legitimate recordkeeping obligations.
  • Improve the hiring process through aggregate counts that do not include your identity, résumé, responses, scores, or decision details.

Woman Enlightened does not use an automated system to rank, reject, advance, or hire applicants.

Who can access it

Version 1 access is limited to the Founder through the password-protected Hiring Center and trusted service providers needed to operate the secure platform. Future interviewers require separately approved least-privilege access before they can view applicant information.

Résumés are stored in a private file area without a public link. Accommodation requests remain separate from application scorecards and applicant comparisons.

What this information never becomes

  • It does not create a Woman Enlightened membership account.
  • It does not enter Journey, member personalization, or a member profile.
  • It is not added to marketing, advertising, or notification audiences.
  • It is not sold.
  • Membership activity, Discovery results, assessments, journals, and personal journey information are not used in hiring.

Retention and requests

For an unsuccessful application, the application record is retained for 12 months after the final decision unless a legal obligation or documented legal hold requires longer retention. A hired applicant leaves this applicant-retention process and requires a separately governed employee-record process.

You may ask about access, correction, or deletion through the Woman Enlightened contact path. A request is handled subject to applicable recordkeeping duties and legal holds, so deletion cannot be promised when retention is legally required.
